Peace through Health
“Peace Through Health”, a report published by the Center for the Study of the Presidency, is a great initiative to bring Israelis and Palestinians together through health and medical projects.
Especially worth reading is the section, from page 22 onwards, that showcases many Israeli-Palestinian cooperative health projects that have run in recent years or are still ongoing. This sort of bridge-building cooperation helps ordinary Palestinians and also establishes trust and interpersonal relationships between both sides of the conflict.
These projects are targetted by the pro-boycott campaigners, who claim that any Israeli-Palestinian cooperation work must be stopped. Anyone who cares about improving the lives of Palestinians and Israelis should stand up to the boycotters and support more Palestinian-Israeli cooperation.
